Nationwide Grassroots Wesak Celebrations 2026
The Malaysia Madani Government together with the Malaysian Buddhist Consultative Council (MBCC) are pleased to announce that registration for the Sambutan Hari Wesak 2026 Peringkat Akar Umbi is now open.
Objective
To broaden community participation and foster inclusivity in the observance of Wesak Day across Malaysia.
Support Mechanism
In recognition of Wesak Day, every participating Buddhist organisation, temple or vihara across Malaysia will receive support from the Federal Government. The grant amount will be determined and disbursed after the celebration, with each organisation required to comply with the stipulated terms and conditions.

Grassroots organisations who wish to print additional copies are warmly invited to email wesak.mbcc@gmail.com to request the HD versions of the poster and bunting.
